Annually, Land survey lab. with quite enough equipment serves over 400 full-time students and 250 part-time students to practice surveying.
The Lab. is a member of LAS-XD124, Construction Inspection and Consulting Center – CTU, which has been certified with the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system since 2009.
Guide students to practice surveying:
- Use the hydrometer and the geometrical altimeter method.
- Measure the elevation grid grade IV, grade V (technical) and adjustment calculation.
- Use the theodolite to measure angles in the horizontal and the vertical planes.
- Measure the grid to control the measurement coordinates (measurement of latitude and longitude lines) and calculate the correction.
- Measure and draw large scale maps
- Repeating the control grid for drawing and adjusting (elevation, coordinate grid)
- Detailed measurement of terrain, topography and calculations.
- Draw maps.
