- History
In August 2001, the Department of Electrical and Automatic Control Engineering was established.
In May 2005, the name is changed to Department of Electrical Engineering.
In October 2022, the name is changed to Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
The mission is trainning undergraduate, high-quality, and graduate programs in Electrical Engineering and research on electrical equipment, power supply, electrical systems, power electronics, automatic control.
The lecturers are dedicated, qualified, experienced, and well educated.
Thefacilities for laboratories and practice rooms are being invested and modernized. There are two research group
* Industrial Engineering Group:
- Analysis of electrical equipment such as structure, operating principles, calculation, and design of electrical instruments, repair of electric motor.
- Application of power electronic devices in industrial factories and home applications.
- Analysis of control techniques, low voltage, power system, transformer stations.
- Calculating voltage drop, short circuit.
- Application of voltage electrical equipment, design and installing control cabinets, improving power factor to reduce power losses.
* Power system Group:
- Analysis the power plant, transformer station, power system.
- Design, operation, control, and planning the power system.
Improving training quality is first.
